![]() Don't think you can just run up ahead and watch every one else die thinking you can make it on your own. ![]() The point is, teamwork is required in order to finish any Expert campaign. We tend to slip up quite a bit, and in-game, there is no exception. If you remember the first portion of my guide- you will recall that I suggested you playing with other humans, as opposed to being by yourself with those crappy AIs.īut of course, humans are imperfect creatures. The definition of "team" is simply "a number of persons associated together in work or activity." This means that you have to work together. Now that this crap is out of the way- we can move on to the nitty gritty of completeing the acutal campaign. If you find yourself having trouble doing these three things- perhaps Expert isn't for you just yet. Try it again some other time.ħ) Just have fun! The point of playing is to enjoy yourself, challenge yourself, and make new friends. If you find yourself getting angry or losing interest- close it. Sometimes it's too frustrating to play or even finish a particular campaign. If you can't handle this power or tend to find griefers more so than not, then keep it friends-only or private.Ħ) You should accept defeat sometimes. Of course, with this power, comes responsibility. ![]() If you are leading a lobby- be sure to know your console commands.įor example: you can kick a player without casting a vote. Out of every group of kind and sympathetic players- there is always one person that enjoys to cause trouble. At least have one good run through each campaign (YES, EACH AND EVERY ONE.) You can chose from either Easy, Normal, or Advanced- play as many times until you are comfortable with each map.ĥ) You should be weary for unfair/grieving players when you make a public game. If you just bought the game, played only thirty six minutes, and tend to goof off, perhaps you should play a bit more. ![]() Practice makes perfection.Ĥ) You will need some form of experience. Just chill out, realize that the world is not over because you died or they died or you didn't complete a level perfectly. Don't rage quit- Don't start swearing at your friends/companions who are forced to go on without you. Sometimes you may have to play a second time. You are not always going to complete a level on the first try. Don't expect the AIs to help you much.ģ) You will need paitience. If you have friends, or even just one, irritate them to join you on this quest. ![]() If you have four to maybe five consistent hours of free time, then you should definitely do it.Ģ) You will need companions. So, if you feel ready to take on this challenge, here is some things you need to know:ġ) You will need time. And yes, I mean a campaign- I wouldn't anticipate completeing three in a row. Hours (or even days) of gameplay will only be the remote beginning of this difficult journey to complete a campaign on Expert. Yet, my friend, you have yet to actually press Start, knowing in your heart and in your bowels that this game is going to make you cry. Just look at Ellis for example- looking all badass and prepared: I just got to do what I did before when I played on a simpler level. What's the big deal about Expert any way. Then one day, you decide- for some idiotic reason- to play these measley campaigns on Expert. Shooting zombies and screaming at your friends to save you from that Smoker you didn't see can be delightful, intense, and perhaps a glorious opportunity to show off your skills. Playing a campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 can be a wonderful experience. ![]()
